Colder Today
Yesterday's temperature was a record-breaking high. (I refrain from calling it "heat" - but it definitely felt like spring!)... The temperature my car thermometer at midday indicated an outdoor temperature of 6 degrees C (or approximately 43 degrees F).
The temperature is currently dropping and, after possible flurries in the morning, the day will be a lot cooler, but sunny. Today's high is expected to be -9 degrees C (16 degrees F) with overnight temperatures of -18 degrees C (-0 degrees F).

Sunny Day Ahead

Sunny Day!
It is good to see the sun again... But it's cold outdoors, too. At 9:30 am the temperature is -11 degrees C (11 degrees F). Our high is expected to be -6 degrees C (21 degrees F) going down to -13 degrees C (9 degrees F) overnight.

Warmish, Partly-Sunny Day

Last night's beautiful sunset foretold pleasant weather today.

At 7:30 am, the GOOD NEWS is that it is no longer dark at this hour! Days are getting longer! The current early morning temperature is -11 degrees C (11 degrees F). Today's anticipated high is 0 degrees C (32 degrees F). Overnight temperatures are expected to drop to -12 degrees C (10 degrees F).

Still Winter!
February has arrived - and unlike Toronto and Edmonton - we still have winter weather!
At 9 am the temperature is -6 degrees C (20 degrees F) with freezing fog in some places ... but not in my neighborhood. Today's high is 1 degree C (34 degrees F). Overnight temperatures should dip to -8 degrees C (18 degrees F).
