At 2 pm the temperature is 20 degrees C (68 degrees F). Today's high is expected to be 22 degrees C (72 degrees F), going down to 10 degrees C (50 degrees F) overnight - under clearing skies.

Another sunny day! The great thing about the weather these days is that the nights are cool enough to open windows and sleep with a quilt. So refreshing!

At 6:15 am the temperature is 15 degrees C (59 degrees F). Today's high is 27 degrees C (81 degrees F), dropping to 15 degrees C (59 degrees F) overnight.

Perfect Summer Day

The sun is shining and the weather today is mild - not too hot. At 8:15 am the temperature is 13 degrees C (55 degrees F). Ottawa's high is expected to be 26 degrees C (79 degrees F), dropping to 16 degrees C (61 degrees F) overnight. There may be isolated showers this afternoon and evening.

Sunny, Warm Weather

Temperatures are slowly becoming more moderate and two nights ago it rained for a bit. So gardens and grass are looking happier again. At 6:45 am the outdoor temperature is 15 degrees C (59 degrees F). The weather network says we are experiencing fog - but not in our neighborhood. Clear sunny skies here. Our high is expected to rise to 27 degrees C (81 degrees F) before dropping to 18 degrees C (64 degrees F) overnight.

Finally... Rain

After a hot, dry July, August has brought rain - and I'm very appreciative!

The garden needs it. Today's forecast is for rain and a high of 23 degrees C (73 degrees F). At 6:45 the sky is overcast and the temperature is 17 degrees C (63 degrees F). Tonight it is expected to drop to 18 degrees C (74 degrees F).

Warm Days, Cooler Nights

Our sunny warm weather continues. We have broken a record for the least rainfall in July, I have heard. But the good news is that our nights have recently become cooler, with refreshing breezes flowing through open windows. At 6 am the temperature is 16 degrees C (61 degrees F). Today's high is expected to be 32 degrees C (90 degrees F), dropping to 19 degrees C (66 degrees F) overnight. There is a possibility of thunder showers. (Rain of any kind would be welcome!)
