Longest Hottest Day
Yesterday and today are the longest days in the Northern Hemisphere... and we are experiencing the hottest weather so far this summer. At 5:30 am it is daylight and the temperature is already 22 degrees C (72 degrees F). Our expected high is 34 degrees C (93 degrees F), dropping to 20 degrees C (68 degrees F) overnight. There is a humidex warning: our humidity is already 88%. Given this high humidity, our current 22 degrees C (72 degrees F) at daybreak feels like 30 degrees C (86 degrees F)! What will our afternoon high feel like?! It will be a toasty day!
