Cloudy Winter Day

The day is cloudy - but the snow does make everything bright!
















There may be foggy patches as the temperature rises, as well as a threat of freezing rain! At 10 am the temperature is -7 degrees C (18 degrees F). The high for today is -1 degree C (30 degrees F) with an overnight temperature of -12 degrees C (10 degrees F).

Snowy World Out There

It's a snowy world out there!Light flakes are drifting down from time to time. The driveway is filled with new-fallen snow. (So it will need to be shoveled.)





















Currently, at 9:15 am, it's -12 degrees C (9 degrees F) but the temperature is expected to rise all day (and night). Today's high is expected to be -3 degrees C (25 degrees F) with overnight temperatures going up to -2 degrees C (28 degrees F).

We May See Some Sun

The early morning temperature at 6 am is -7 degrees C (18 degrees F). The high for today is expected to be about the same or -7 degrees C (19 degrees F) going down to -13 degrees C (9 degrees F) overnight. There does seem to be a warming trend after the few cold days we have just had.

Still Really Cold

The temperature at 9 am is -21 degrees C (-6 degrees F). It will warm up to -8 degrees C (18 degrees F), where it will stay overnight. The car's block heater had to be plugged in again last night.

Sunny But Cold

Today is the first day we are plugging in the car's block heater so that the car will start more easily. The current temperature at 8:30 am is -18 degrees C (0 degrees F). The high for today is -17 degrees C (1 degree F). Overnight the temperature is expected to drop to -22 degrees C (-8 degrees F)... But the sun is shining! (That makes the cold all that much more bearable!)

Sunny But Getting Colder Again

After a mild day or so, the sun has come out and it's getting colder. (And the melted snow is turning to ice... So slippery conditions abound!)

















At 9:30 am it's 0 degrees C (32 degrees F) which is today's high. Temperatures will drop to -2 degrees C (28 degrees F) this afternoon. Overnight temperatures are expected to drop even more to -17 degrees C (1 degree F).

Cloudy Mild Day

Today feels a little like spring! (Though in reality we have only had about 2 weeks of "winter" weather!) Today's high is 1 degree C (34 degrees F) with overnight temperatures of -1 degree C (30 degrees F). Colder weather is supposed to return next week.
